Visit to the Screening Center 15.06.2026

The European Pact on Migration and Asylum entered into force on June 12, 2026. In light of this, on June 11, 2026, the Chamber of Deputies adopted national legislation aimed at implementing the new European requirements regarding the screening of third-country nationals upon their arrival in the country.
 
Under this new framework, the CELPL was designated as the independent body responsible for monitoring the Screening Center. The CELPL conducted its first visit to the Screening Center on June 15, 2026.
